If you have not yet declared a major specialization, you can do so using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/cas-advising-major-declaration-form\/\">CAS Major Declaration form<\/a> (see directions below).\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><a href=\"\/anthrop\/files\/2025\/09\/BioAnthro-Advising-Form-edited-june-25.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biological Anthropology Advising Form (edited 2025)<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\/anthrop\/files\/2025\/09\/Sociocultural-Advising-Form-edited-june-25.pdf\">Sociocultural Anthropology Advising Form (edited 2025)<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"\/anthrop\/files\/2025\/09\/HealthMed-Advising-Form-edited-june-25.pdf\">Anthropology, Health &amp; Medicine Advising Form (edited 2025)<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arrange a meeting with your Anthropology advisor to discuss your intended schedule. Your advisor must approve and sign your form in order for you to receive your registration advising code, which you will need to sign up for classes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have met with your advisor, turn in your completed and signed Registration Form to the anthropology department either via email (<\/span><a href=\"mailto:anthro@bu.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anthro@bu.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) or in-person at 232 Bay State Road, Suite 105. Upon receiving the form, we will grant you your registration advising code.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Major\/Minor Declaration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To declare or make any changes to your major (i.e. adding, dropping, or switching majors), fill out the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/cas-advising-major-declaration-form\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CAS Major Declaration form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You may fill out the form once for multiple actions. This form is only for CAS students, if you are from another college, you must fill out the form specific to that college.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To declare or make any changes to your minor, fill out the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/academics\/undergraduate-education\/academic-advising\/advising\/minor-declaration-form\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> CAS Minor Declaration form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This form is for CAS Students only.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transfer Credits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are looking to take <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">courses at another school and would like us to pre-screen your courses to see if they have already been approved for BU credit, fill out the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/cas-advising-transfer-credit-pre-approval-form\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transfer Course Pre-Screen Request Form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have already taken a course\/courses at another accredited institution and are interested in receiving BU anthropology credit, or if\u00a0 a course you are interested in has not been approved for credit, fill out the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/biology\/files\/2015\/08\/TRANSFER-COURSE-EQUIVALENCY-FORM-July-2015.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transfer Course Equivalency Form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. After you have filled out the form, submit it to the anthropology department by emailing us at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:anthro@bu.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anthro@bu.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
