He specializes in nineteenth-century America.<\/p>\n<p>Robichaud is the author of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hup.harvard.edu\/catalog.php?isbn=9780674919365\"><em>Animal City: The Domestication of America<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>(Harvard, 2019). The book explores the central role of animal life and death in nineteenth-century cities, and traces a web of interconnected social, cultural, political, and environmental changes.
