Dublin Seminar for New England Folklife Celebrates 50 Years
The Dublin Seminar for New England Folklife celebrates its 50th anniversary this year! The seminar welcomes scholars each summer for a series of workshops and conversations that engage with New England’s history and culture. The American Studies program was happy to commemorate the anniversary and sent a letter of congratulations on behalf of program director Dr. Joseph Rezek and CAS Dean Stan Sclaroff.
The American Studies program is a proud co-sponsor of the Dublin Seminar, and many of our students and alums have participated and shared their research (including current PhD student Ella Kotsen, pictured here at this year’s seminar presenting a paper on Pauline Hopkins’s Afrofuturist vision). Congratulations to the Dublin Seminar on this amazing milestone!
