I also like how BU doesn&#8217;t really have a campus and is just part of the city. Boston is such a beautiful place, and being able to study in the heart of it was something I always dreamed about.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nWhat are the aspects of BU that you are most proud of\/regularly tell your non-BU friends about?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy favourite part about BU is how easy it is to get around! It\u2019s super accessible and I love exploring the area since our \u201ccampus\u201d space is so open. Also, even though we don&#8217;t have a traditional campus, I feel comfortable walking around at night because we&#8217;re in a relatively safe part of Boston. <\/p>\n<p><strong>How have you changed since your first day on campus?<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019d say I\u2019m definitely a lot more reflective of myself now. I\u2019m more comfortable with myself and more mature because I learned a lot from my friends and also from being on my own, away from family. I think I really found my people who played a huge role in helping me adjust to the culture here and just being happy.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nWhy did you choose to be involved in SAA?<\/strong><br \/>\nAs I was exploring fun ways for BU alums to stay connected with the BU community, , SAA was what came up! When I learned more about its role and all the events SAA hosts, I knew I wanted to get involved. I&#8217;ve personally talked with many alumni who were excited to come back and join campus activities, and I think it&#8217;s amazing to create a space where BU grads feel like they are always welcomed in the community.
