And in the process they have fun, develop their values, and build friendships that last a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>Our student organizations are largely funded through BU\u2019s annual operating budget. The program is also an essential part of BU\u2019s commitment to supporting career development for its students.<\/p>\n<p>By making a gift to the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), you help expand access for Boston University students to funded, faculty-mentored research experiences across the University.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Boston University is unable to fund nearly one-third of qualified and deserving applicants. Every gift directly provides stipends to students, ensuring they can pursue these invaluable research opportunities.
