We are providing "instant" access to the e-textbook and Achieve through the Bookstore's FIRSTDay Program. The slides explaining the program, costs, and access are available here.
If you opt out and have purchased access otherwise, and have never logged on before, but have an KEY ACCESS code, follow these steps:
Go to achieve.macmillanlearning.com and click on "I Need to Enroll in a Course." If you already have a Macmillan Learning account you can enter your access code or if not the course ID (45o474) with your existing credentials and skip to step 4. You may use your existing account by simply signing in by clicking the red "SIGN IN" button at the top of the page. Otherwise, you can create an account by clicking the white "Create Account" button at the top of the page
On the Create an Account window::
a. Fill in your name, email, and create your password.
b. Select United States as yoour county
c. Start typing in your institution to select from the options that appear. Select "Boston University"
d. Set all three security questions
e. Accept the terms of use and click ″Create Account.″
Login
If you have your access code already, enter it and you are on your way. Here you have a choice if you have not purchased access and 1) want to purchase, or 2) want a 14-day trail ("Grace Period")
If you try a 14-day trial, you'll see a listing of our course. Our course is "Biochemistry II (Spring 25)" As you can see, our course ID is "45o474."
