We\u2019ll start with AIDA guidelines and a live TerrierGPT demo, paired with guided prompting exercises.<\/p>\n<p>The second half of the workshop centers on case studies drawn from real administrative scenarios, where participants will work individually or in small groups to build AI agents for common tasks and discuss considerations like accuracy, judgment, and appropriate use. It gave faculty and staff the opportunity to gain relevant, hands-on experience with AI.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>1\/15: AI Faculty In-Studio Workshop<\/strong><br \/>\nJanuary 15, 10:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m. (PHO 117). <span>Facilitators: John Byers, Karen Jacobs, and Benjamin Keating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIntroduction to Generative AI in the BU Teaching Context,\u201d focused on the ethical and critical use of GenAI for teaching and learning, and included an interactive demonstration of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/aida\/ai-tools\/terriergpt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TerrierGPT<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The workshop guided participants in developing AI policies for syllabi and assignments that establish clear expectations for students.
