TSgt Daniel Martins is a Reserve Officer Training Corps Training Instructor for Detachment 355 at Boston University, Boston, MA. He is the Senior Enlisted Leader and primary enlisted advisor to the Detachment Commander and cadre on a wide range of topics including academics, health, morale, esprit de corps, mentoring, military training, professional development, and recognition of all assigned cadets.

TSgt Martins enlisted in the United States Air Force in January of 2007 at Lackland AFB, TX. He graduated from his Structural Systems Technical Training Course at Gulfport, Mississippi in July 2007. At his first duty assignment in Andrews AFB, MD, he deployed as well as working for the 11th Command Support Staff before serving a short tour at Osan AFB, Republic of Korea. He was later stationed at Nellis AFB, NV, where he deployed four more times and was in charge of different sections of his unit and also the Squadron Vehicle Control Officer.

Prior to his current position, TSgt Martins was the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Dorm Maintenance Team, Nellis Air Force Base, NV. He managed five multi-craft Civil Engineer’s in maintaining Air Combat Command’s largest unaccompanied housing for 1,056 Airmen.
