Welcome to our community.\u00a0<\/strong>The African Studies Center is a unique and vibrant community of students, faculty, staff and visiting researchers. The core faculty and staff of the ASC focus on running the African Language program<\/a>, the ASC Publications program<\/a> and the K-12 Educational Outreach program<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>Affiliated faculty and researchers work in a wide variety of fields and often share their research at ASC events. Throughout the year, we host a variety of event for the various members of our community to come together to watch films, discuss research and reflect on current events.\u00a0<\/span>Students interested in learning an African language or in African studies research are encouraged to reach out to our faculty, staff, or visiting researchers for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
