Join Prof. Jayita Sarkar for a day-long workshop on the 60th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 1514, “Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples.”

The aim of “Decolonization @ 60: A Workshop” is to lead a provocative discussion on decolonization as multiple global processes that are not frozen in time of the 1940s, 1950s and the 1960s, but rather one that forms an intellectual framework to understand borders, borderlands, partitions, migration, citizenship and political violence today.

The workshop is sponsored by Pardee School, BUCSA, African Studies, Latin American Studies and CURA.

Please note: the building is located in a historic district and is not ADA accessible.
