Global Read Webinar with award-wining author Jordan Ifueko

Award-winning author Jordan Ifueko will discuss her latest book, The Maid and the Crocodile, which won the 2025 Children's Africana Book Award for best chapter book. Once a month in the spring, the World Area Book Awards (Américas Award, Children’s Africana Book Award, Freeman Book Award, Middle East Book Award, and the South Asia Book Award) sponsor a 60-minute webinar on a book recognized by one of the awards. The Boston University African Studies Center is a co-sponsor of the Africana Book Award and a participation in the selection of Children's Africana Book Awardees.
