Sara is originally from Queens, NY. She was born to Nicaraguan and Dominican parents. Sara is an undergraduate student double majoring in Sociology and African American & Black Diaspora Studies. <\/span><\/p>\n On campus, Sara has been involved with the College of General Studies as a Dean\u2019s Host and also as part of the Committee for Common Ground. She as also worked as a Web Staff Writer, Model, Administrative Assistant, and Creative Director of her own project called \u201cThe Fates\u201d for Charcoal Magazine. She is also entering this year as a Student Ambassador for the Howard Thurman Center (HTC). <\/span><\/p>\n Sara is passionate about social justice and intersectionality.
