{"id":9915,"date":"2019-03-12T18:28:24","date_gmt":"2019-03-12T22:28:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/erc\/?page_id=9915"},"modified":"2025-05-27T10:52:46","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T14:52:46","slug":"study-rooms","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/advising\/educational-resource-center\/study-rooms\/","title":{"rendered":"ERC Study Rooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Summer 2025 &#8211; Information and Hours<\/h2>\n<p>Private study rooms are available:<br \/>\nMonday-Friday | 9am-4:30pm<\/p>\n<p>You must be a current BU student and show your BU ID in order to utilize a study room. <span>Requests must be made at 100 Bay State Road, 5th floor reception desk, and rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Please note that by walking in and securing a study room, you agree to adhere to the following policies:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>You can reserve a <strong>2-hour block of time<\/strong> to use the study space on a walk-in basis only.\u00a0 After 2 hours, you must vacate your room and return the key.\u00a0 You may request to extend your time in the room with the Student Desk Assistants, but an extension is not guaranteed.<\/li>\n<li>You will sign the\u00a0<strong>Study Room Contract\u00a0<\/strong>before your reservation is confirmed.<\/li>\n<li>You will use the room <strong>alone <\/strong>or with <strong>up to 3 other BU students<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You will <strong>leave the room clean<\/strong> and in the same condition in which you found it.<\/li>\n<li>You will <strong>throw away trash<\/strong>, and recycle any bottles.<\/li>\n<li>You may bring and use your own white-board markers, and you will <strong>erase the white board<\/strong> if used.<\/li>\n<li>You agree to work quietly and be considerate of others using the space.<\/li>\n<li>You will<strong> lock the doors<\/strong> behind you when you leave at the end of your time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summer 2025 &#8211; Information and Hours Private study rooms are available: Monday-Friday | 9am-4:30pm You must be a current BU student and show your BU ID in order to utilize a study room.
