I met her through the <a href=\"https:\/\/questromworld.bu.edu\/udc\/\">Undergraduate Development Center at Questrom<\/a>, where I\u2019ve also done Work-Study since freshman year. Everyone there provides so much support\u2014it doesn\u2019t even feel like work!<\/p>\n<p>My high school friends and I were captivated by South Korean music, food, and culture, but the COVID lockdown disrupted our dreams of traveling. <strong>BU gave me the opportunity to experience South Korea in real life.<\/strong> Just going on the train by myself or managing my money in South Korean won has been humbling and eye-opening. <span style=\"text-align: center;\">It\u2019s built my confidence in a whole new way.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">What I\u2019ve learned will give me an advantage when working in a global economy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Up until now, I\u2019ve been primarily taught an American perspective on business.<strong> Studying in South Korea has given me a unique Eastern perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She\/her\/hers Quick Facts Business Administration major (Questrom) Performance (voice) minor (CFA) Undergraduate Development Center Work-Study student Ascend\u2019s Quest for Questrom participant Navigators Christian Fellowship member \u201cMy advisor has been pivotal to my time at BU.
