Exceptions include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"aqua\">\n<li>Early Decision applicants<\/li>\n<li>Boston University Tanglewood Institute alumni<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More information about the prescreening requirements can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/music\/admissions-auditions\/\">School of Music website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>School of Theatre<\/strong> Regular Decision and Early Decision 2 applicants for Theatre Performance and Design, Production &amp; Management are required to submit a pre-screening recording by December 1.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note that Early Decision applicants applying for the November 1 deadline are not required to submit a pre-screening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More information about the prescreening requirements can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cfa\/theatre\/admissions-auditions\/\">School of Theatre website.<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Auditions and Portfolio Reviews<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants to the School of Theatre, School of Music, and School of Visual Arts, <em>with the exception of Music &#8211; Nonperformance majors<\/em>, must complete an audition, submit a portfolio, or both.
