How Can You Apply?<\/h3>\n

To receive need-based financial aid from BU, you must submit both the CSS Profile™ and FAFSA, which are used to determine your “expected family contribution.” Be sure to check out our tips for completing the Profile or FAFSA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. Note all applicable deadlines<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Submit the FAFSA<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Submit the CSS Profile<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. Upload a CSS Profile Waiver Request<\/a>\u00a0for the Noncustodial Parent to the\u00a0MyBU Applicant Portal<\/a> if getting a Profile from your other (noncustodial) parent will be impossible.<\/li>\n
  5. Regularly check your MyBU Applicant Portal<\/a> “Application Status” page and email account for requests for additional information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    BU’s need-based scholarships are awarded based on a combination of demonstrated financial need and academic merit. To apply, you must complete the two financial aid forms listed above to determine your financial aid need for need-based grants and scholarships. We strongly encourage students and families to consider applying, even if you don’t think you may be eligible.<\/p>\n

      Need-based financial aid from BU is not currently available to international students.
