Below are important next steps for you to take before then.<\/p>\n<h3>Winter<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\">\n<li>Create your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/services\/cccs\/email\/google-mail\/welcome\/\">BU Google Email Account<\/a>. This is an important step to creating your student record with the University and should be done as soon as possible after submitting your enrollment deposit. (You should have received an email after you submitted your enrollment deposit from <a href=\"mailto:ithelp@bu.edu\">ithelp@bu.edu<\/a> with these steps)<\/li>\n<li>Share that you\u2019re in! #BU2030<\/li>\n<li>Join the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/bu2030\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BU Class of 2030 Facebook Group<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Attend our <a href=\"http:\/\/applicant.bu.edu\/myBU\/s\/events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Admitted Student Virtual Event<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bu.bncollege.com\/webapp\/wcs\/stores\/servlet\/BNCBHomePage?storeId=13555&amp;catalogId=10001&amp;langId=-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Order your BU swag<\/a> and show off your Terrier pride!<\/li>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/admissions\/why-bu\/student-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">student life section<\/a> to learn more about life at BU<\/li>\n<li>Accept your Financial Assistance award (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/applicant.bu.edu\/myB\/s\/pay-deposit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Submit your $650 enrollment deposit<\/a> by the date indicated in your <a href=\"http:\/\/applicant.bu.edu\/myBU\/s\/decision\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">decision letter<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Withdraw all applications to other colleges or universities<\/li>\n<li>Send us your mid-semester senior grades<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Spring<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\">\n<li>Submit your New Student Housing Application (watch for an email in April with instructions)<\/li>\n<li>Register for University Orientation after May 1<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/emd\/emergency-management\/bu-alert-faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Submit your BU Alert<\/a> contact information<\/li>\n<li>Sign up for the optional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/csc\/programs\/fysop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">First-Year Student Outreach Project (FYSOP)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ask your school to send a final transcript showing proof of your graduation<\/li>\n<li>Submit your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/admissions\/files\/2018\/05\/ib_course_equivalence.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Baccalaureate scores<\/a> (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Submit your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/admissions\/files\/2018\/06\/Advanced-Credit-Guide.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Advanced Placement<\/a> scores (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Review BU&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/back2bu\/campus-life-undergraduates\/student-health-safety\/\">Community Health &amp; Safety protocol<\/a> and submit your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/shs\/getting-started\/incoming-health-requirements\/\">Immunization &amp; Health History forms<\/a> (watch for an email from Student Health Services with instructions).<\/li>\n<li>Schedule a visa appointment at the US Embassy (international students only)<\/li>\n<li>Take advantage of the value packages through <a href=\"https:\/\/bu.bncollege.com\/webapp\/wcs\/stores\/servlet\/BNCBHomePage?storeId=13555&amp;catalogId=10001&amp;langId=-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the BU Campus Store<\/a> to order your extra-long sheets and other dorm essentials (you can do this up until mid-August)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\"><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\"><\/ul>\n<h3>Summer<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\">\n<li>Complete the online Orientation course (more information\u00a0shared via email)<\/li>\n<li>Engage\u00a0virtually with Orientation Leaders and your peers (watch for an email with instructions from Orientation)<\/li>\n<li>Contact your future roommate<\/li>\n<li>Submit payment for first-semester charges<\/li>\n<li>Watch for an email and complete the AlcoholEdu for College\u00ae and Sexual Harassment &amp; Discrimination Prevention online courses<\/li>\n<li>Attend FYSOP (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Move into your dorm room<\/li>\n<li>Attend the mandatory International Student Program orientation session (international students only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\"><\/ul>\n<h3>Fall<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"checklist checkbox\">\n<li>Attend Fall Orientation in August<\/li>\n<li>Attend the Matriculation ceremony<\/li>\n<li>Start classes on September 2, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Awesome!
