{"id":1689,"date":"2021-06-16T03:02:43","date_gmt":"2021-06-16T07:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/adminsc\/?p=1689"},"modified":"2022-10-25T13:30:07","modified_gmt":"2022-10-25T17:30:07","slug":"announcing-labs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/adminsc\/2021\/06\/16\/announcing-labs\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the continuation of our popular 100-Series Labs through Summer 2!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are very pleased to announce that Starting on July 6<sup>th<\/sup>, the 100-Series Labs (PM100, AD100, ADR100, see details below) will continue to be taught in an instructor-led version, rather than the self-paced version which is used in the Fall and Spring semesters.\u00a0 This change is being made to assist you in successfully passing and earning your badges in the courses related to these Labs.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>PM100:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>PM 100, \u201cProject Management Essentials\u201d \u2013 is one of the Assignments which must be completed in order to complete AD642.\u00a0 Completing this Lab will allow you to be better prepared to begin your Master of Science in Project Management or other Master of Science program in the Fall 2021 semester.\u00a0 Note the Lab works as \u201cAssignment 0\u201d in AD642, and is required for COMPLETION of AD642, and is NOT required before you BEGIN AD642.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratory will be taught by Professor Richard Maltzman (<a href=\"mailto:exclaim@bu.edu\">exclaim@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AD100 and ADR100:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We are also continuing the Labs AD100, \u201cPre-Analytics Laboratory\u201d, and ADR 100, \u201cIntroduction to R\u201d.\u00a0 This allows you to be better prepared to begin your Master of Science in Applied Business Analytics or other Master of Science program in the Fall 2021 semester.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratories will be taught by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>AD 100 Pre-Analytics Laboratory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>o\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Professor David Ritt (<a href=\"mailto:drmitt@bu.edu\">drmitt@bu.edu<\/a>)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>ADR 100 Introduction to R<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>o\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Professor Gregory Page (<a href=\"mailto:gpage@bu.edu\">gpage@bu.edu<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h3><strong>ADR100 for Financial Management Students<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>ADR 100, \u201cIntroduction to R\u201d will continue to be taught in an instructor-led version, rather than the self-paced version which is used in the Fall and Spring semesters.\u00a0 This change is being made to assist you in successfully passing and earning your badges in ADR 100, \u201cIntroduction to R\u201d.
