The mission of the Project Management graduate programs at Boston University\u2019s Metropolitan College (MET) is to combine contemporary research and established practice to instill in our diverse student population the personal and intellectual skills needed to excel in changing, globally ambiguous, culturally diverse, and uncertain environments. Our goal is to produce critical thinkers and innovative leaders with the skills, knowledge, and agility to excel in the realm of project, program, and portfolio management.<\/p>\n

We are proud to be one of the first educational institutions in the country to offer project management. Since 2006, our master\u2019s degree in Project Management has been accredited by the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC). Today, our respected certificate and degree programs attract high-achieving candidates from all over the world, representing major project-driven industries such as financial services, manufacturing, construction, information technology, business, life sciences, and healthcare. We are uniquely positioned in Boston—a hotspot for academic excellence<\/a> and an innovation hub<\/a> for healthcare and high tech\u2014and our faculty and student community reflect this high-energy environment.<\/p>\n

Whether you pursue a graduate certificate or a master\u2019s degree, you can choose to study either face-to-face in on-campus classrooms or via online platforms, which we\u2019ve enhanced to give a nearly in-person experience. Our graduates are successful and speak highly of their experiences within our PM programs, and upon graduation they continue to play a leadership role in the field.<\/p>\n
