ABA@BU Hackathon Spring 2026

Student teams are invited to participate in the Spring 2026 Applied Business Analytics (ABA) Hackathon. Topics for the three competitions are: (1) dataset analysis and modeling, (2) models and applications for a business case analysis, and (3) dynamic dashboards for a business case analysis. Competitors are given the same dataset for modeling, the same business case, the same short list of the most common techniques covered in the ABA curricula, and access to software to solve a challenging problem using an applied business analytics framework.

REGISTRATION: Teams can register for the Hackathon before Wednesday, March 25 at 11:59 pm ET. Registration is available on the ABA Blackboard website (https://learn.bu.edu/ultra/courses/_52423_1/cl/outline), and can be found in the left-sidebar by clicking “Submission ABA@BU Hackathon Spring 2026.” The finalist presentations will be live streamed on Zoom on Saturday, March 28 at 10 am ET, and the ABA@BU Hackathon Spring 2026 Student Team Competition Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 28 at 1 pm ET.
