A student accepted for the freshman class or as a transfer student may register as part of the summer or winter orientation programs.<\/p>\n<p>Those who cannot register in advance through an orientation program must do so during the on-campus registration period at the start of the term.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed instructions on first-year registration can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cds-faculty\/academics\/undergraduate\/incoming-first-year-student-registration\/\">CDS Incoming First Year Student Registration<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing students may register through WebReg on MyBU Student Portal beginning in April for the fall term and beginning in November for the spring term.<\/p>\n<p>CDS students may register for courses in any of the full-time undergraduate schools and colleges of Boston University and receive degree units for elective courses and BU Hub requirements for general education requirements.
