The accreditation of the institution at which the work was completed is also taken into account. A maximum of <\/span><span>8<\/span><span> units may be transferred from other institutions into a MET master&#8217;s degree program that requires a total of 32 units or more. A maximum of <\/span><span>4<\/span><span> units may be transferred from other institutions into a MET Graduate Certificate program that requires a total of 16 units or more. Programs may set a lower maximum number of units that may be transferred. Students may not use units or other work used to satisfy the requirements of another degree earned at Boston University or another institution to fulfill the requirements of a master\u2019s degree at Metropolitan College, unless such transfers have been approved for a specific program and institution. Some MET master\u2019s programs may recognize up to 8 units for holders of approved professional credentials or certifications. Units should be earned in the last five years and be at a grade of B or higher. Individual exceptions to the above policy can be petitioned through the Metropolitan College Dean\u2019s office.
