Undergraduate students generally proceed toward completion of their degree at the rate of 16\u201318 units per term.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for over 20 units in a term must be approved by the student\u2019s school or college. Registration for over 22 units in a term (&gt;10 in a summer session or &gt;20 in the summer term) must be approved by\u00a0the\u00a0Undergraduate Academic Exceptions Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Note: the minimum number of units for most degrees is 128, which assumes that the average enrollment each term will be 16 units for 8 total terms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Effective September 1, 2014 A student is considered to be enrolled full time in a term when the student has registered for 12\u201318 units.
