Pardee School of Global Studies<\/a> in the College of Arts &amp; Sciences, is available to students enrolled in any of BU\u2019s four-year undergraduate schools and colleges.<\/p>\n<p>To study international relations is to learn how the world works. At Boston University, we take an interdisciplinary approach. Undergraduates studying international relations choose from a wide range of courses in history, economics, political science, anthropology, sociology, and religion, among other disciplines. In a globalizing world, the study of international relations provides a portal for entry into a variety of career fields or for further graduate or professional training.<\/p>\n<p>Six 4-unit courses are required for a minor in international relations. These include four required principal courses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CAS IR 271 Introduction to International Relations<\/li>\n<li>CAS IR 292 Fundamentals of International Economics <strong>OR<\/strong>\u00a0CAS IR 399 Fundamentals of Global Money <strong>OR<\/strong> CAS EC 392 International Macroeconomics <strong>OR<\/strong> QST IM 345 Global Business Environment (CAS EC 101 and EC 102 are prerequisite courses)<\/li>\n<li>CAS IR 349 History of International Relations, 1900\u20131945<\/li>\n<li>CAS IR 350 History of International Relations Since 1945<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two elective track courses, chosen from any of the track course lists on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/cas\/programs\/international-relations\/ba\/\">BA in International Relations program page<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A grade of C or higher is required in all principal and elective track courses.<\/p>\n<h3>Functional Track Options Include:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Environment and Development<\/li>\n<li>Foreign Policy and Security Studies<\/li>\n<li>International Economics, Business, and Politics<\/li>\n<li>International Systems and World Order<\/li>\n<li>Regional Politics and Cultural Anthropology<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Regional Track Options Include:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Africa and the Middle East<\/li>\n<li>Asia<\/li>\n<li>Europe<\/li>\n<li>Latin America<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The minor in International Relations, offered by the Frederick S.
