The Institute on Culture, Religion &amp; World Affairs (CURA) desires to foster a better understanding of those societies and to preserve their diverse heritage through the Muslim Studies Program. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/cas\/programs\/muslim-studies\/\">two Muslim Studies minors<\/a> offered in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/\">Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies<\/a> take\u00a0an interdisciplinary approach that exposes students to Muslim societies\u2019 historical, religious, anthropological, political, linguistic, and cultural characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the College of Arts &amp; Sciences humanities and social science faculty offer a broad range of courses focusing on the Muslim societies and civilizations of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
