The second half of the term students choose an elective and participate in the internship and an internship seminar. &nbsp;The last two weeks of the term consist of completing the weekly seminar course and internship class, for a total of 15 weeks in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Core Phase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5>Week 1\u2013Week 6<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Students take the required core course to prepare for their internships, and one elective course. Traces evolution from 11th century origins to present day. Students have the opportunity to intern in a British law firm focused on immigration, criminal defence, family law, property law, business compliance consultancies and legal aid charities.<\/li><li><em>While law as a term encompasses a wide variety of industries, students&nbsp;<\/em><strong>should not expect<\/strong><em>&nbsp;to intern in an organization with a focus on government.
