As a Program Manager, Elizabeth McBean is responsible for the management and administration of the Madrid, Padua, Venice, Grenoble, and Washington, D.C. programs. Her responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for each of these programs and working directly with students as they prepare for their study abroad experiences.

Prior to joining BU Study Abroad, Elizabeth spent several years advising and supporting students’ educational experiences abroad and in the United States. She taught Russian language, literature, and culture courses at The Ohio State University, where she is currently completing her Ph.D. in Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures. In addition, Liz has worked as a study abroad advisor at CIEE in Portland, Maine and as resident staff at the CIEE Study Center in St. Petersburg, Russia.
