WR 150 Information Literacy Sections

In addition to the program-wide objectives in WR 150, sections with the designation for enhanced Information Literacy instruction will continue building on the goals central to Information Literacy in WR 100 while also pursuing the following learning objectives: learning methods of finding sources (using the BU Libraries’ web pages for searches, using databases such as JSTOR or Web of Science, using public search engines effectively, etc.); learning to evaluate information sources for authoritativeness or relevance to a give project; learning to efficiently and effectively select sources of different types according to a project’s needs; and bibliographic management.
