Writing Program Curriculum

First-Year Writing Seminars (WR 120) and Writing, Research, & Inquiry Seminars (WR 150, WR 151, and WR 152) are offered in fields across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.  Although they differ with regard to content, all writing seminars lead students through a common sequence of writing assignments. These build upon each other, providing a context for steady improvement. For more information about the course goals of WR 120, WR 150, WR 151, and WR 152, please visit the course pages.

Some students whose native language is not English may require introductory work in English composition prior to the first writing seminar.
