I am currently a doctoral student in the department of English. My research interests focus on nineteenth-century British literature, environmental criticism, the gothic, and queer ecology. My dissertation examines the intersection of discourses surrounding pollution, waste, and the gothic in the Victorian novel, exploring the relationships between industrialization, contamination, and desire.
