Joseph Bizup has served as Assistant Dean and Director of the Writing Program since 2008. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of English. His professional and research interests include writing program administration and writing pedagogy, writing in the professions, nineteenth-century British literature, and contemporary rhetorical theory. He is author of Manufacturing Culture: Vindications of Early Victorian Industry (2003) and editor of The Norton Reader, 13th edition (2011).
