Bio

Jason Tandon has taught in the Writing Program since 2008. He teaches WR 100 and WR 150 seminars on topics including modern and contemporary American poetry and existential literature, philosophy, and film. He is the author of three books of poetry, Give over the Heckler and Everyone Gets Hurt, winner of the 2006 St. Lawrence Book Award for a first collection, Wee Hour Martyrdom, and Quality of Life. His poetry and reviews have appeared in AGNI Online, Beloit Poetry Journal, Boston Review, Harvard Review Online, New York Quarterly, Poetry International, Prairie Schooner, Spoon River Poetry Review, and on NPR’s The Writer’s Almanac.
