ESL Specialist Positions

ESL Specialists provide tutorial support to students enrolled in the Writing Program’s three ESL courses, WR 111, WR 112 and WR 120 ESL. Applicants should have graduate-level credentials and experience in tutoring ESL composition in the context of writing centers.

To apply, send a curriculum vitae and a letter of application to Heather Barrett, Writing Center Coordinator.  Applications may be delivered in hard copy to 100 Bay State Road, Room 301, Boston University, Boston, MA 02215, or e-mailed to writing@bu.edu.  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, but it is recommended that applicants apply one semester before the semester they want to begin tutoring.
