ESL Specialist Positions

ESL Specialists provide tutorial support to students enrolled in the Writing Program’s two ESL classes, WR 097 and WR 098 as well as to students enrolled in WR 100 and WR 150. Applicants should have graduate-level credentials and experience in tutoring ESL composition in the context of writing centers.

To apply, send a curriculum vitae and a letter of application to Professor Maria Zlateva, Associate Director, ESL, CAS Writing Program.  Applications may be delivered in hard copy to 100 Bay State Road, Room 301, Boston University, Boston, MA 02215, or e-mailed to  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, but it is recommended that applicants apply one semester before the semester they want to begin tutoring.

In addition, we are also recruiting a small number of ESL Pronunciation Tutors  for Fall 2015.
