Boston University’s Fisk House provides low-cost housing to 16 female BU graduate students each year. Managed by the BU Women’s Guild (BUWG), the newly relocated 193 Bay State Road residence underwent extensive renovations last summer and is now home to a community of women who are students in a wide range of graduate programs at BU —  from fine arts to environmental health to international affairs. During Friday’s dedication, nearly four dozen attendees were on hand to celebrate the opening of the new location. Here, two plaques were unveiled—one recognizing the generosity of BUWG Endowed Scholarship Fund donors, and a second acknowledging past presidents of the BU Women’s Council—the entity that managed the Fisk House until this group’s merger with the BUWG in 2020.

Since its inception in 1933, the Fisk House has proudly supported hundreds of Boston University graduate students.
