Part-Time Lecturer in Japanese
Emiko Okayasu Rafique was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. After receiving her M.A. in Asian Civilization from The University of Iowa, she has been teaching Japanese for over ten years in the Boston area. Prior to teaching at Boston University, she taught at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Phillips Exeter Academy, and Harvard University. She has also taught intensive summer programs and a continuing education program.
