The Department of World Languages & Literatures offers instruction in German, Russian, Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Hindi-Urdu, Korean) and Near Eastern (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish) languages and literatures and in Comparative Literature. You can major and minor in many of these fields, or in Middle East and North African Studies. The department is committed to undergraduate education, and students from across BU are welcome in our courses. Students majoring in other fields are invited to consider the advantages of adding a WLL minor, or a double major. See the menu at right for further information.
