Dr. Sonja Ardoin, program director and clinical assistant professor for the Higher Education Administration program, was named as an editorial board member for the Journal of Student Affairs Research & Practice (JSARP) this month. Dr. Ardoin will serve on the board for the 2016-2019 term.
JSARP seeks to publish and make accessible the most rigorous, relevant, and well-respected research and practice making a difference in student affairs practice. The journal exposes the NASPA membership and JSARP readers to unique commentary and scholarship from multiple methodological forms and perspectives and supports and encourages scholarly contributions from a wide variety of theoretical and conceptual frameworks. JSARP builds and extends the literature and knowledge of the student affairs field through open and critical discourse within and across disciplines from the perspective of student affairs in higher education.
Dr. Ardoin was chosen for the JSARP Editorial Board because of her expertise in the combination of research and student affairs practice and she looks forward to contributing to both the journal and NASPA. Dr. Ardoin joins Dr. Daryl Healea, adjunct faculty member, as the second BU SED Higher Education program faculty member on the JSARP board.
The journal is sponsored by NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education; for more information on JSARP, please visit naspa.org/publications/journals/journal-of-student-affairs-research-and-practice.
