Description

Macromedia Dreamweaver features a number of advanced tools for managing your web pages. In this course, you will learn how use Dreamweaver to manage your files efficiently, find and replace incorrect text, check your links, and run site reports. You will pick up helpful tips and procedures that will make file management more effective, and find out how to customize Dreamweaver to better meet your needs. You can view a course outline and course materials online.

Benefits

After completing this class, you will be able to:

  1. copy, move, and rename files and folders without breaking links.
  2. check your files for broken links using Dreamweaver's Link Checker and update them with ease.
  3. create workflow reports.
  4. use Dreamweaver's Design Notes.

  6. find and replace incorrect text and HTML code.

Prerequisites

Dreamweaver: Introduction (or equivalent knowledge). An account on people.bu.edu, or access to a site on www.bu.edu, is recommended.
