Description

CourseInfo's communication tools increase students' involvement with the materials and allow students to interact outside the classroom.

In this class, you will learn about and practice using the communication tools available in your CourseInfo site: bulletin boards, email, chat, file exchange, and small groups. For a complete description of topics covered, see the course outline.

After completing this class, you will be able to:

  1. Post and read messages on a bulletin board.
  2. Send and receive e-mail messages from your CourseInfo web site.
  3. Hold real-time chat and whiteboard sessions.
  4. Exchange files with your students using the digital dropbox.
  5. Create small groups from your course roster.

Prerequisites

Experience using CourseInfo. HTML: Introduction or equivalent knowledge. In addition, you should have already requested a course site in CourseInfo.
