Description

Web site content editing has never been easier than it is now with Macromedia Contribute. Intended specifically for non-technical users, Contribute makes it easy to create, edit, and publish web pages. No previous experience is necessary. You don't need to learn HTML or Dreamweaver. If you can navigate in a web browser and open/edit/save Word documents, you can maintain content on a web site with Macromedia Contribute.

This tutorial is intended for web site content providers who have little to no previous experience with web publishing and/or have difficulty learning Dreamweaver.

Instruction is provided on creating a new site definition in Contribute, basic interface elements of Contribute, browsing your site, editing content on existing pages, creating new pages on your site, importing content, and publishing your web pages.

  3. import text from Microsoft Word documents onto your web page

  5. create new pages based on a Dreamweaver template
  6. upload a "draft" page to solicit comments before publishing
