Assessment

Online assessment ideally provides the same flexibility and ease of use as traditional tests. It also helps instructors take advantage of opportunities to customize course content based on students' performance. Online assessment in these products includes standard multiple-choice, true or false, fill in the blank, matching, and essay questions. CourseInfo's adminstration tools are centralized and extremely simple to use.

WebCT's administrative interface is unconventional and inconsistent, requiring some time to learn. Many functions require multiple steps, and some familiarity with navigation in frames is very helpful.
