Standards

As always, we have created pages in compliance with Web standards in place today.

Americans with Disabilities Act

  • Graphics have text descriptions in ALT tags. Screen-reading programs recognize and read these tags.

  • All navigational graphics are designed so that text-only browsers, such as Lynx, can use them.

  • All pages were tested for accessibility with Bobby.

  • All pages comply with the accessibility guidelines established by the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

HTML

Javascript

  • Our use of Javascript is limited. No critical information or navigational functions are dependent on Javascript compatibility.

  • In every instance where we used Javascript, we first check the visitor's browser version. In this way, we prevent unintended effects or errors for visitors using browsers that are not compatible with Javascript.
