Introduction Networked Information Services, a new group within the Office of Information Technology, is charged with supporting the University's Web efforts. This summer, our primary project has been the redesign of some the major pages of the Boston University Web, including the BU home page. We want to explain the goals of the redesign and detail the specifications of that design. Where Are They Now? refers to the links that were once on the home page. These new pages identify where you will find those links now. Many people have contributed their ideas to this project. Meet them on The Team pages. Finally, we hope that you find our revisions an improvement. We hope that you view them as irrefutable evidence of a renaissance of attention to and focus on the Web at Boston University.
