Set Up The Monitoring System
- Start the RealPlayer software. Select File | Open location and put in the
URL rtsp://realserver.bu.edu:554/encoder/test.rm.
- Make sure you're seeing the image that you thought you would. Note that
there will be a 10-25 second delay.
- NIS staff will also access the admin web interface, which allows realtime
monitoring of server connections and performance.
- Lastly, take 10 seconds or so and make sure the URL of the webcast works
as a live stream. The live stream should override the standby message.
