Anti-Virus

Some anti-virus programs can interfere with Blackboard Vista. These issues can include being unable to read or compose emails in Blackboard Vista, an inability to attach files to emails, and difficulty uploading files to Blackboard Vista. Pop-up windows may also be blocked even though the Blackboard Vista's Browser Check indicates that pop-ups are allowed.

We have tested Blackboard Vista with the following anti-virus programs, which shouldn't give you any issues with their default settings.

• Norton 360 version 3.0
• McAfee VirusScan (From BU and free to members of the BU community)
