Directory and request

The directory and request reports provide information about how many times pages were accessed on your site, and where those pages were located. Keeping in mind the caveats discussed in the previous section, this information is generally useful for getting a sense of what content on your site is most popular.

The request report lists the number of requests for each web page (up to 2000) on your site. For example, your site might contain 562 pages. Even if one of those 562 pages had only 2 requests during the report period, it would still be listed in the request report.

Note that the request report does not include requests for graphics, so it's a more accurate indicator of total traffic than the general server request statistic.

The request report is particularly useful if you want to see what content is of greatest interest to your visitors.
