The BU Web has over 400,000 pages. To help visitors find content of interest to them, the pages are indexed and searchable with Google's search engine.

If you have a large site, you may want visitors to search only your content rather than the entire BU Web. For example, you might want to confine searches to your department's Web pages or to a subset of those pages (such as a departmental newsletter).

Setting up a custom, confined search is easy. First, decide which option you want.
