Creating Feeds

If you are publishing a website and want to include RSS feeds, you have several options. If you are publishing on the BU Web, you should use the News CMS to create your news feeds.

Some publishing tools such as blogging software produce news feeds automatically. Additional services, such as FeedBurner, allow you to track the feeds for your blog.

If you do not use software that automatically creates RSS feeds, you can create them by hand, though we do not recommend this. Creating feeds by hand can be tedious, especially when you consider that every time you add news items to your site the feeds will have to be updated.
