Audio, Video, Multimedia

Text and graphics are nice, but the Web now offers much, much more. Multimedia content can add excitement to your site, and even files that can't be displayed in a web browser can still be downloaded from your site and opened with the appropriate software - for instance, Adobe Acrobat Reader for .pdf files (see our Digital Sender page to learn about converting paper into .pdf or .tif files)

As bandwidth increases and digital information downloads faster, audio, video, and animation will become even more commonplace on the Web. Our A/V: Introduction can get you started learning about the tools and techniques for preparing audio and video for your site, and our Flash: Introduction tutorial offers an overview for incorporating Flash audio and video animation.
