Locking a Topic

Locking a topic prevents anyone from replying to it. Existing replies are kept. Locked topics display a Lock Icon next to them.

Lock a topic by first going to the Moderator Control Panel by clicking the "moderate this forum" link at the bottom right of the forum.

List of options moderator can do. The second to last sentence contains the link to the Moderator Control Panel.

Then find the topic you'd like to lock, and click the check box next to it. Then click the "Lock" button. You'll then be asked to confirm your choice. After confirmation, the topic will be locked and no further replies will be accepted.
